Count Down to Start Up (1970) follows the start-up process of ARMCO’s first fully automatic cold strip steel mill in Middletown. Their vision was to restore the building back to a beautiful and thriving theatre; filling the grand ballroom with patrons, entertainers, educators, and employees. Griffith said the Sorg is important to the community because it provides local theater enthusiasts an opportunity to see local productions and it’s an economic driver for downtown businesses. There are 17 musical shows scheduled for the rest of the year and seven so far in 2022.
